At a meeting of the senior class Tua- day afternoon it was decided to pro- claim Wednesday a legal sneak day for the class. The idea was certainly an unique one. anl seniors were conspic- uous by tl.eir absence Wednesday morning. The first real demonstration was started in chapel, most of the girls' seats being reserved for girls in black gowns and boys with 5-cent hats. Each senior had a toy of some sort. The spectacle made one think that the class had been turned loose in a 99-cent store. The straw hats were too much for the under classmen, and a junior grabbed one and started for the dor. Imme- diately several seniors started in pur- suit. but their way was blocked. Ex- citement was at a high, pitch and a pitched battle seemed imminent, when Professor Davis appeared on the scene g and calm was restored. CALENDAR. t.
