Recording Secretary. Sec. 4.-It shall be the duty of the Recording Secretary to appoint users; take charge of the same, and of the hall and such other duties as usually devolves upon his office. Correspsniding Seetar y. Sec. 5.-There shall be a Correspond Ing Secretary, whose duties it shall he to conduct all correspondence and su- perintend all advertising, and sign all general admission tickets. Assistant Treasurer. Sec. 5.-There shall be an Assistant Treasurer, whose duties it shall he to receive and sign all single tickets from the president and to take charge of the same. ARTICLE II. Election of Officers. Section 1.-The officers above nanied and all other officers shall be elected for a term of one year. The outgoing officers shall have' full powers to com- plete all busintss pertaining to their course. Sec. 2.-All officers of this Associa- tion shall be elected by an electoral college which shall meet on the second Saturday of May. Sec. 3.-Students of the several de- partments shall meet on the last Satur- day of April and choose by ballot from their number electors in the proportion of one to every fifty members of the department and an extra "lector for ev- ery fraction above 25. In :he appor- tionment of electors should any depart- ment have less than 50 and more than 25 members it shall entitle it to an elec- lor. Sec. 4-Any student of the I7. f21. holding a season ticket shall be anem- her of the Association for all purposes set forth in the constitution and. by- laws Se. 5.-At the meeting forthe elee- lion -of the Electoral College, the tellers and clerks of election shall be chosen by a committee of three of the mem- bers of the hoard of officers, selected by the president. Ns twos of the mnenobers of the board shall be members of the same department. Sec. 6.-The member of the board holting the highest office shall preside in his department; in case there is no member of the board in any depart- ment a chairman may be chosen. Sec. '.-In the distribution of the nine officers of the Association, the literary department shall have at least three officers, the law department at least two, the medical at least one and the dental at least one. Sec. 8.-In the elections held by each department for choice of electors a plu- rality of votes shall elect. ARTICLE III. Tickets. Section 1.-All tickets of the Associa- tion shall be numbered consecutively and signed by the Corresponding Sec- retary. ARTICLE IV. Amendments. Section 1.-Amendments may be pro- posed at the meeting for chosing elect- ors; and any amendment shall require a two-thirds vote of the members pres- ent at the meeting of the different de- partments. ARTICLE V. Quoruml. SecLsons I-At ssy naeting of the As- 5ociation, excepting the annual sleet- ing, 50 shall constitute a quo-sul. At the annual election, one-tenth of the members in the department shall con- stitute a quorum. ARTICLE VI. Parliamentary Authority-. Section 1.-Robests' Rules of Order shall govern the proceedings of the meetings of the Association whenever its own constitution is silent on any point.
