N neckwear we aim to give you the best on the market. We like to hear our customers say "SEE THAT TIE, bought
it of you a year ago. Just as good to-day as when bought." That is neckwear satisfaction. That is the kind of neck-
wear we sell. Always the best and latest shapes, and the GOODSPEED label means quality of the highest. You are
always sure when buying our ties that there is nothing in the market that excels them. We are now showing the latest
silks, also wash ties, all the new stocks with ties of extra liberal proportions. Come and see them.

Medics and Laws.
The senior medics and laws left for
Pontiac this morning over the Ann
Arbor. It is the yearly custom for
the seniors of the two departments to
make a visit to the insane asylum at
that city, and to make a study of the
relation of insanity to the medico-
legal cases. Drs. Herdman and Solis
will accompany the students.
Up to the middle of May the hos-
pital work for the University hos-
pital was equal to that done during
the entire year ending June 30,
1898. The total number of hospital
days during the year ending June
30, was 22,773. The total slumber
so far this year is over 23,000,
which indicates a gain of about 16
per cent over the former year.
