The thesis of Miss Gertrude Buck,
Instructor in English at Vassar Col-
lege, has just been published by the
Inland Press, as No. V. of Contribu-
tions to Rhetorical Theory, edited by
Prof. F. N. Scott. The title of the
thesis is The Metaphor: A Study in
the Psychology of Rhetoric. Copies
may be obtained at Sheehan's book-
store. Miss Buck took her doctor's
degree at the University of Michigan
in 1898.
