Questions for Debate Chosen The questions for the Central De- bating League contests next year have been chosen and forwarded to Prof. Trueblood. The question for the semi-finals between Michigan and Chicago at Chicago, and Wisconsin and Minnesota at Minneapolis is, "Resolved: That Municipal Owner- ship and operation of street railways is preferable to ownership and opera- tion by private corporations." The question for the final at Chicago be- tween the winners of the above con- tests is, "Are the economic advan- tages of trusts sufficient to justify their existence under the law." Michi- gan must choose sides on the former question with ten days of receipt of the same, i. e. by May 16. All stu- dents and especially the debating societies are invited'and urged to ex- press their opinions as to the choice of sides.
