Former "Cosby" co-star alcolm Jamal Warner is stretch­
ing his wings into film. He'll make his scr n debut on D em­
ber 9 when "Drop Zone" hits the nation's cinema circuit.
In the high-action thriller, he co-star with W ley Sni .
as one of two U.S. Marshals (who h ppen to brothe)
'transporting a convicted computer genius on a commercial
747 when the airplane i attacked and their prisoner is
kidnaped by skydivers. Th attack results in the death ofth
brother portrayed by_Warner.
Determined to track down his brother's 'Hers, Snipes'
character is drawn into the daredevil world of exhibiti n
skydiving. "Wesley and I have known each other for years"
says Warner," but "Drop Zone" is the first time w.e've wor ed
together."
Ironically, Warner has skydived and at one time was pre­
paring to obtain a skydivers license.
Today, Warner's biggest challenge is to win more film
acting roles.
