I ader Dr. Martin Luth r King, Jr. has n selected to head
th nonviolent social change center named for his father.
xter King, 33, takes over from his mother who has been
ding the center sin 1968,
The decision was som what of a urprise becau e five years
ago Dexter King resigned as pr id nt of th center following
conflicts with hi mother and older members of the center's
board of directors, Mrs, King told a news conference in Atlanta
that the differences had been "fully resolved. " The center
promot King's memory and ways to bring about non-violent
social change.
