Jamal, a well-known Black Journalist in
Philadelphia, traveled to Chicago to' bring
back the story of the police assassination of
Black Panther leader Fred Hampton. Hampton
was shot to death by police in his bed at 5
a.m. Today, Mumia himself sits on death row,
the only political prisoner In th Untted States
facing execution.
We failed to stop the execution of Fred
Hampton on Dec. 4, 1969, but today we can
