We have a .lot of good young people and also parents in this community. , I WERE IN your position a uperintendent, before I make decisions and tatements like that, I would sit down with the other two uperindentent from Benton Harbor and Coloma. Invite some parents from n three districts and dis­ cu thi situation and maybe it wouldn't hurt to have some police office in the meeting. If that area was included in the concerns, or was aware when that bus was to arrive, they could have looked out for it. Neighborhood Watch Groups can form and do that. Benton Harbor has a very strong Parent Advisory Group that could have addressed your concerns and help to find a better solution. People who are poor, on drugs, ignorant - or whatever outside communities want to call them, they also care about their babi . Maybe they clothe, feed or discipline them prop­ erly (just like everyone else), they respect it when orneone else sincere is helping and teaching their children. We have weak people out there. It doesn't mean that deep down inside they don't care. Those of us 'who have strength, somebody has to do it, whether you want to or not, Communicate with Benton Harbor. We understand English.
