The work includ d is follows:
.• Partial demolition of existing floor­
ing and roof ductwork;
• New cast-in-place concrete floor­
ing;
• New roofing;
• New interior architectural finishes;
and,
• Replacement of roof ductwork.
Proposals shall include furnishing of all
labor, material and equipment to com­
plete the project, including removal and
disposal of waste material.
Each proposal shall be accompanied by
a certified check or a bid bond by a
recognized surety company similar to a
U.S. Government Standard form bid
bond. In the amount of five percent (50/0)
ofthe bid, payable to the City of Highland
Park, Michigan, as security for the ac­
ceptance of the contract.
Copies of the contract documents for the
work may be obtained from the Recrea­
tion Department, 10 Pitkin Street. High­
land Park. Michigan 48203. Monday
through Friday, 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 PM.
Bids will be awarded at the City Council
meeting on Monday, October 17, 1994
at 7:00 p.m.
The right is reserved by the City of High­
land Park to reject any or all bids, to
accept any bid. and to waive formalities
in bidding in the interest of the City.
This proposal shall be effective for a
period of sixty (60) days from the date
established for opening of all bids.
This project is being funded through the
State of Michigan Recreatio'n Bond
Program. The successful bidder will be
subject to all applicable State of Michi­
gan laws and regulations, including
Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).
