been ince the beginning. My case began in 1989

How can w (Blacks) receive a sentence of 100
to 1 for crack cocaine when it comes in t.he form of
powd r first. We ar not the ones who are bringing
it into the country.
I think to make this law fair and just it should
be treated the sam as powder cocaine.
People convicted of any type of drug case should
go through an educational process. I'm not saying
that we houldn't ge time, but make the punish­
ment fit the crim
MAYBE DR offenders should be made to
p rticipate in drug rehabilitation programs as an
atonement for their crime.

out of your life, and continue your education.

I was no morally conscious of what I was doing in
my communi y. I was unedueated and not aware
of If. ow that I have had time tosit down and

the choice is yours. Do the right thing.
