ING OF THE BENTON CHARTER
TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES
HELD ON TUESDAY, JULY 5, 1994, AT
7:00 P.M.
Memb rs present: Supervisor Boothby,
Clark Askew, & Trustees Hudson, Isaac,
Mott & Wells.
Members absent: Treasurer Mammina.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00
p.rn, followed by a silent invocation and
the Pledge of Allegiance. The minutes of
the regular meeting held June 21, 1994,
were approved as presented. The
Agenda was amended under New Busi­
ness to add Items G. & G-1. Set Public
Hearings for July 19, 1994, for Ausco
Products, Inc. and PEER, a Division of
DT Industries, Inc.
Set July 19, 1994, as the Public Hearing
date to consider granting Empire
Molded Plastics an Industrial Facilities
Exemption Certificate.
Reappointed Jackie O'Brien to another
term on the Library Board.
Granted Hospice at Home permission to
conduct Carnation Oays in Benton Char­
ter Township July 8 & 9th, 1994.
Voted to remove Cable Items D & E from
the Agenda.
Approved payment of bills as follows:
General Fund, $28,101.29; Fire Fund,
$5,489.06; Police Fund, $10,206.52;
Sewer Fund, $1.522.72; & D.D.A. Fund,
$1,068.95.
Set July 19. 1994, as the Public Hearing
date to consider granting Ausco Prod­
ucts, Inc. an Industrial Facilities Exemp­
tion Certificate and to consider
designating PEER, a Division of DT In­
dustries. Inc .. an Industrial Development
District and to consider granting them an
Industrial Facilities Exemption Certifi-
cate for twelve years. .
Voted to put Item D. back on the Agenda
as it was not a cable item and then
adopted a resoluti 0 release the re-
verter restriction on ownship owned
parcel.
Promoted Virginia Withrow from Clerk
Typist " to Administrative Assistant I,
with job description to be revised to in­
clude Economic Development and Com­
munity Development paperwork.
retroactive to April 1, 1994. with all mem­
bers voting in favor, except Clerk Askew
who voted No.
Authorized the Personnel Committee to
revise the current Grid schedule grade
levels with years of service and report
back before the first meeting in Septem­
ber, 1994.
