Dear Hlghl nd ParkerNoter:
Let me congratulate and
thank all of our citizens that par
ticipated in the school board elec
tion held. June 13, 1994. If you
have not heard or been made
aware, the winners were' the
W.E.B team/slate, Arneta Wa
terhouse, Dorothy Eaddy and
Eleanor Blackwell.
I personally offer my con
gratulations to the winners and
am thankful to the voters of
Highland Park who once again
showed faith and confidence in
me by supporting my slate of
candidates.
As I stated in my endorsement
letter, the real winners in this
election are the children of High-
and Park. YQ n t assured
t beginning this July when
the W.E.B. team is seated, the
quality and level of education in
our schools will be raised to a
higher level.
I ask that we all turn our at
tention to the August 2nd state
primary, where we will have an
other opportunity to improve our
City with the opportunity to vote
for a Governor and a Council
Member. to replace our late
Councilman, Charlie P. Davis.
Once again, I thank you for
supporting my slate of School
Board candidates and more im
portant, for exercising your right
to vote. See you again at the
Polls, August 2, 1994.
