George Jones Sr., 67, of Benton
Harbor died May 23, at Mercy Me
morial Medical Center, St. Joseph.
The funeral was held May 27, at
Mount Zion Baptist Church, Benton
Harbor, of which he was a member.
Burial was in Crystal Springs Ceme
tery. Arrangements was made by
Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan.
Mr. Jones was born September
17, 1926, in Deeeon, Mi ., and had
resided in thi area for 32 years. He
was formerly employed as a con
struetion worker.
Survivors includ : a son, Georg

LawrenceJon Jr. of St. Louis, Mo.;
a ister, Ollie Jon of Benton Har
bor; 51 grandchildren; and 16 great
grandchildren.

Harbor. He was a member of Pro
gressive Baptist Church where he
