sealed bids forthe 'WATER FILTRATION
PLANT LAKE I�TAKE CLEANING AND
SUPPLEMENTAL BALLAST INSTALLA­
TION" until 11 :00 a.m. local time on April
27, 1994, at the Benton Harbor City Hall,
P.O. Box 648, 200 Wall Street, Benton
Harbor, Michigan 49022, at which time all
bids will be publicly opened and read
aloud.
The work on which proposals are to be
submitted includes:
1. Waterblast/clean lake intake structure.
2. Cle,an approximately 3950 L. F. - 36"
steel intake piping.
3. Video-tape 3950 L. F. of intake piping
following cleaning.
4. Furnish and Install 250 C. Y. of riprap at
lake intake structure.
The contract documents, including plans
and specifications for bidding purposes
are on file at the City Hall and the office
of the Engineer, Merritt Engineering, Inc.,
4568 Red Arrow Highway, Stevensville,
Michigan 49127.
A certified check or bank draft payable to
the City of Benton Harbor or a sati factory
bid bond executed by the bidder and a
surety company, for an amount equal to
5% of the bid shall accompany each bid.
The City of Benton Harbor reserves the
right to reject any or all bids and to waive
irregularities in bidding.
No bid shall'be withdrawn for a period of
sixty (60) days after the scheduled time
of closing bids.
