commemorate African American His­
tory Month, the Detroit Hlstortcal Mu-
urn (5401 Woodward) h opened
a new permanent exhibition, -Door To
Freeaom", celebrating the Important

cise, stick fighting, judo, karate,
punch and kicks, armlocks, ju­
jitsu, meditation to help focus on
setting goals, discussing current
events taking pl ce in the com-
munity and around the world
and listening to opinions given
by members in an hour and 45
minute timeframe, says Master
Sekou.
"I encourage females that
they should begin to want to
train, look for awareness of self­
fitness and become conscious in
the changing the world. " Master
Sekou said.
The Bomani Martial Arts
. Federation is located in the Con­
sidine Recreation Center on
Woodward. At a small fee,
adults will learn various sur­
vival techniques and for chil­
dren its free of charge for
learning sport judo and karate.
