His vocals are smooth, soothing,
and enrapturing; the young rap

this album definitely has a fu
ture in hip-hip. In the language
of hip-hop, this album is Phatt!

many Blacks lack. As Marcus
Garvey stated: "If you ha no

THERE IS MUCH more to
Quincy's vision than the release
of his album, the album being
prod uced by his recording com
pany, Q-Pon. As an entrepre
n ur, Quincy wants to provide
promising Black artists in Pon
tiac and 0 her communities an
oppo unity to be su ful in
th music busin ss.
What's important to me is
that the r lease of Quincy's al
bum should show Blacks in our
community. hat "well done" is
better than "well said." I think
the ti Ie of the album, "P tho
logical," is appropriate. It re
flects to me the collective sick
Black mentality of making ex
cus , the if-i-woulda'-coulda'-
houlda' syndrome. This
attitude prevents us from being
self-determined and achieving
necessary socio-economic goals.
From knowing Quiney, his al
bum was finished and released
