recently rv-eived the Meritorious Unit Commen­
dation, along with his shipmates aboard the air­
craft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt,
homeported in Norfolk, VA and the crews of its
embarked units. The 1988 graduate of Cess
Technical High School joined the Navy in June,
