If the thought of the Devil'a Night in Detroit' already
giving you the jitters, don't wony. On Saturday, October
30th, 1993, the Ashanti Cultural Society invites Detroi
to celebrate "An African Morning, • a celebration of pomp and
pageantry, with Detroit' o?vn African Royalty.
The ceremonies will take place at the Lewis College of
Busin , located at 17370 Meyers on Detroit' ide.
Reverend Wendell Anthony, the preeidentofthe NAACP,
who' also the Chief of Akotokyir in Ghana, will sit in state
in full African Royal regalia. Of oourse on this occasion, he
will only be addressed in his African Royal name, hich is .

Also present will be Nana Kofi Adomako, the 'ceremonial
Fang of the Ashanti Cultural Society, NanaAbenaa.k.a. Mrs.
Judith Wyche, the ceremonial Qu n mot and a ho e
entourage of Ashanti Cultural Soci� Royal mutt.

Detroiters. Famili especially young peopl areenoouraged

to know about our rich culture and heritage, and didn't know
