business in the area for ten

overridingconcem was "whether
they (Humphrey and Martin)
could make a profit •
IN ADDITION, LEE SAID,
because the lady (no name given)
bas operated a busin in the
, area for ten years and needs to
relocate, his intentions is to lease
the storefront to her.
However, Humphrey, who
emphasized that the Civil Rights .
complaint has been filed, said, "I
want to be treated fairly in my
community.·
And, he added, "If the origi
nal agreement is agreed to, we
are willing to drop the (Civil
Rights) complaint. "
