began his education career in 1 5 in the
Detroit Public Scbools teaching history
and Engli h for four years at FochJuruor
High School, and.later, history and eco­
nomics at Cooley High. H taught ial
tudies education and labor hist ry at
Wayre State University, and was a part­
time Black studies instructor �t Wayne
County Commuruty Colle .
Dr. Cain holds a BA in Hist ry with
minors in English and Econ mics from
Talladega College in Alabama (1 5); a

riculum Development from Wayne
