izers to offer a safe environment
"After 23 years, we still have to
fight for respect," aid the Rev.
Chari R. Williams, Black Expo
president. "We just struggle because
we have to fight so hard for recogni­
tion. The emphasis (of media cov r­
age) i alway on the negative, not on
th positive things we do." .
Events beyond Expo's control,
