Add broth, beer and tomato paste.
Bring to a boil and season with It.
Simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in
chocolate until melted. Serve imme­
diately, over rice or beans. (P Liq-
uid Spice Garlic, OUIi and Hot Red
Pepper for those who like even zes­
tier flavor.) Serves six.
Note: Chili can be coo ed ahead o
time and stored in refrigerator over­
night.
QUICKIE CHILI

1'4 cup (60unc ) hredded

Saute garlic, in lightly oiled heavy
saucepan with cover, until golden.
Add onion and pepper and continue
cooking, stirring occasionally, over
medium heat six minutes. Add
spices, com and lamb. Cook, stirring,
four minutes. Add salsa, cover and
cook four minute longer.
Add cheese and stir well. Serve on
brown or white rice with toasted pita
br d and a green salad. Serves eight
generously.
