latest release. "Handel' Messiah-A
Soulful Celebration" was named
contemporary black gospel album of
the year, while Sandra Crouch's "With
All My Heart" was dubbed "ttaditional
Black gospel album of the year". The
Dove Awards. spon ored by the
Nashville-based Gospel Music Asso
ciation, acknowledge the contribu
tions of artists in the diverse Chris
tian music arena. Broadcast live from
th Tennesee Performing Arts Center,
,the Doves were telecast over the
Family Channel. The ceremonies
capped off the weekJong fe tivities
scheduled around "Gospel Music '93"
(March 28-April 1. 1993) at the
