Raffael Dent was shot and killed August 31, 1992, after an agrumentover
the sale of a pack of cirgarettes. Detroit artist Benny White painted the
portrait of Dent
Darnell Bird was shot and killed January 25, 1993 after refusing to
surrender his leather jacket to thieves. Detroit artist Richard Johnson
painted the portrait of Bird.

police officers. Detroit artist Benny White painted the portrait of Green.
Seven children were killed in a house fire on F.ebuary 17. Detroti artist
