The Chicago Black Ensemble Theater performed their stage
production "Perfect Duet" for a near capacity crowd at the Fisher
Theatre during Black History Month.
The production reminded viewers of the turbulence of the civil
ri h movement of the '60s and encouraged the audience to institute
hanges in race relations that would eliminate the raci m that still
cxi t today.
Following the energetic performance, corporate sponsor Hudson's
h ted employees, community leaders, and cast members for an
afterglow at Pegasus Restaurant in the Fisher Building.
During the evening Jim Robison, president of C.U .B.E (Chri tians
United in Business Endeavors) pre ented Mike Hyter, vice president
of publi affairs and communication for Dayton Hudson Department
Store Company, with the C.U.B.E. Partnership in Progress Corporate
Leadership Award for hi achievements in business and continued
community support.
