According to City Attorney Robert White, th city was invoiced approximately $82,500 and part of that not prorated b , (or the last month of their services. White said Waste Management sent the invoice as if they had performed services throughout the course of that particular time. . In October, 199], Wane Man­ agement was awarded a fivc-year contract with the city to collect solid waste and Industrial Sanita­ tion, a local company who e bid was $10,000 higher, w awarded a contract to pick up waste at multi­ unit site within the City.
