renowed cooking techniques of
the London Cordon Bleu, the
winner will embark on an

demon tratlon for beginners
and professionals alike.
Founded in 1895, Le Cordon
Bleu boasts many famous and
uccessful chefs, including
American's own Julia Child.

To enter the contest, consum­
ers are invited to submit recipes
using one or more Bays English
Muffins for either a snack or
dessert. Six finalist will be
flown to Chicago in April for the
final competition.
Recipes will be judged by a
panel of food experts on the ba­
sis of taste, appearance, imagi­
na tion, practicali ty,
appropriateness for an English
muffin and fi t wi th the snack or
dessert theme.
winner will receive six place s t­
tings (five pieces each) of
Wedgwood China. One third
place winn r will win an eight­
piece set of Waterford crystal
stemware. ,
the fourth place winner will
be awarded a set of "Le Cordon
Bleu" cooking videos. Fifth and
sixth place winners will each re­
ceive a $75 retail gift certificate
and one case of Bays English
Muffins.
Thirty runners-up will each
win a gift package of Bays Eng­
lish Muffins and a Bays Gour­
met Apron.
All entries must be received
by March 31 1993. Send origi­
nal recipes (snacks or desserts
only) with your name, address
and daytime phone number, plus
one top label from a package of

1 table .poon lemon juice
'1 teaspoon chopped parsley
1/4 tea poon garlic, chopp d
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon onion juice
l/fieaspoon b lack pepper
4 Bay English Muffin -
M e herb butter by melting
together all ingredient except
Engli b muffin. Cut Engli b
muffin into a ut 2 strip.
Brush muffin trip with butter
mi ture. B at 350 on oil
lined beet pan for 15-20 min­
ute until browned and cri p.
