That is according to the most
recent figures released by the
Centers for Di e Control in
Atlanta. Accordin to the
report, 86 p rcent contracted
the disease as a result of
hom xual x or IV drug use.
Only seven percent becam
infected as a result of contact
ith a woman. Am ng women
54 percent became infected
through intravenous drug use,
36 percent through sex with a
