The. twins were active members of
Greater Bright Star Baptist Church in
Los Angeles, gospel singers of in Los

and nursing student at Compton
Community College.
They were also avid collectors of
dolls. Wyatt says the family wants to
donate their dolls to a museum and
may solicit the aide of Supervisor
Yvonne B. Burke, a member of the
African American Museum's board of
directors, to help the� make the place­
ment.

Beside Wyatt and Mrs. Me­
Carther, their mother, the McCarthers
are survived by three other isters,
Dorothy Campbell and Bobbie J. Hall,
both of Van Nuys; and VernadeU M.
McCarther, and ho t of nieces and
nephew. Two brothers, John and
William Jon , are both deceased.
