Mr. Willie Brown celebrated his
l00th birthday recently with dinner
at home wi th his family. He has lived
to see six generations.
In his youth be was a pitcher for a
eball team in Shelby, Mississippi�
Mr. Brown's daughter Millie Grady,
with whom he lives with said he
would have been a professional if
they had allowed Black people in the
Nationil League at that time.
He has five children, 19
grandchildren, 31 great
grandchildren, 21 great great
grandchildren and seven great great
great grandchildren.

John Covington co-anchor. John is
active in Boyz Inc. and has produced
