BUSHWICK
continued from 81
don't try this at home."
A VIDEO FOR the song has
been released. In the video, there
is a scene where Bushwick's glass
eye ends up floating in a glass of
something that looks like
Everclear.
Another title from the album is
"Letter From the KKK, " a song
about the L.A gang truce (which
at the time of this writing still has
not been broken). The song talks
about the genocide in the Black
community that results from gang
violence.
Inspirational line: "We gotta
reload that gun and hunt down
that white ghost." Bushwick ex
plains, "The 'white ghost' refers
to the sheet the Klan wears."
Bushwick also emphasizes, "The
song is not directed to all white
people in general, but to the
people who wrote that letter."
Bushwick will continue to
loom large when fans hear the
album's title traek "Little Big
Man," in which Bushwick talks
about "takin' the bit---- to that
other level" and descnbes himself
saying, "I'm four foot two, a
couple of inches and I'm steady
getting bigger."
In the track "From Coppper to
Cash" Bushwick says, "I'm not
with being broke," and notes,
"They can't tax robbery." The
song flow by saying, "I push my
homework aside so I could write
rhymes. I sat in class with my
mind in a daze, because there's
not a nigga in the ghetto who's
about to win the lottery. "
Bushwick says he's referring
to "the crime that was going on in
my neighborhood, which was ex
tracurricular activity," and ex
plains that some people would
view that as training for later
achievements in life towards their
"career," so to speak.
And for those who know it's
not all about child's play, look for
more on Bushwick's friend
Chucky on the song "ChuC/CWick, "
which Bushwick describes as
"Chudwick Part 2. "
Bushwick says, "I kept watch
ing all the different "Childs Play"
sagas. Then I decided, "He's
short, I'm short. What better con-
cept? It fits. If I can't make the
song, why make the movies? On
the song "Chuckwick," inspira
tional line: "Blame it on Chuck
wick." (Unfortunately, we're
sure someone will ... e pecially
with the line "Every finger I cut
up Lgive to charity ... ")
Bushwick ays, "I'm half
Bushwick and I'm half Chucky
and it's Bushwick controlling
what Chucky does. The hard
times people go througb may not
be as hard as what Chucky has to
go through." In the song Bush
wick promises, "Chuckwick
Bill...with my Chuckwick
.doll ... part 3 is on its way." We'll
be waiting for that. ..
