hotel rooms across America.
"We'd record anytime we
could--after the show, before the
show," says X Ho. "I think
recording while we were on the
road made us hungry and helped
us create some dope material."
That takes care of HFH's
sound; as for their unique style of
garb, well you have to blame the
HO's themselves for that. "Th
way we dress simply reflects our
personalities!" says King Ho.
"There s always a positive, ener
getic vibe goin' on around here

performed by fraternities, into
their already dazzling Hip-Hop
street style seemed a natural.
They call this combination "G-
90 style." "G-90 Style is a posi

while out with Hammer," says X
Ho. "Hey, we were on the bill
with acts we admired, like Bobby
Brown, Heavy D. & the Boyz,
Kool Moe Dee, New Edition and
Kid N Play-so we had to come
up with something that allowed
us to compete." .
But they took it further than
that, eventually choreographing
the music videos and stage show

all of Bust It acts. Their work on
the Hammer clips in fact earned
them a MTV Music Video Award

perfect for play at hip-hop clubs
and parties, and who would know
better what would appeal to dan
cers? The first single, "Toss It
Up," will sufficiently introduce
listeners to the beat that will make
them want to move. "Our sound
is different," says Face of
Zhigge's music. "It's not
hardcore nor is it tribe like.
Zhigge is a fun group, a positive
group. Our sound is something
new. This is what our talents
produced, so I can just say, it's
us," adds Kazo.
"There's a happy feel to it. We
have a lot of hype beats on the
album, but we've kept the hip
hop base," says Tonga.
This is just another step up in
the hip-hop business for Zhigge
and soon these fly, Zhigge guys
will be rakin' in the dough.
