t The music industry consist of
, many things n order to sen t .
I quantities of records. You need radio
:1 airplay, a supportive record company
t. and a solid grassroot street founda
:: tion.
:: Until now, rap artists from
:: Michigan/Midwest have had very lit
:1 tie airplay, even less support from the
;; major record com.panies and no street
tl ground promotions.
l :
 The Street Promoter magazine is
the brainchild of Keith Havard and
Shawn P. The two combined forces
because no one in Michigan or the
Midwest would promote street (rap)
music.
The Street Promoter has both the
tools and a staff to promote street
(rap) the way it deserve to be
promoted. Staff members pass the
magazine out on the streets and also
put .up posters of featured artist. .
The magazine can also be picked
up at ur local record store, at a
concert venue or on a street near you.
