" Mr. and Mrs. James Thornton of Tulsa, Ok­ lahoma, relatives of Lessle Palmer of Detroit, graciously played host to more than 50 relatives at a family re-union recently for a three day event. Members greeted each other at a fish fry on Friday at the Thornton's spacious home. On Saturday a sumptuous dinner was prepared wi th a variety of meats, salads, des­ serts, and freshly made lemonade ... The Thorntons believe that a. family who . prays together stays together so on Sunday they all at­ tended Philippi Baptist Church and some of the fami­ ly members provided gospel entertainment.
