An estimated 15,000 people from around the country, Canada, Mexico, Africa and the Carribean converged in Detroit for the five day conven­ tion. They worshiped, prayed, adopted budgets and resolutions, elected leaders, and defined educational and financial goals in the church and the community. THE FINALE, PBNC's Freedom Night, featured Rev. Je se Jackson as keynote speaker. Also, during Freedom Night, Judge Damon J. Keith was presented with the Freedom Award for outstanding African American jurist. The Convention brought in an es­ timated $10 million to the city of Detroit. Rev.
