will have their Annual Day program on Sunday,
August 9, at 3:30 p.m,
Their guests will be New Liberty Baptist Church,
Walker Temple Church Of God and the Mt. Pilgrim
Baptist Church of Battle Creek.
Rev. David McIntosh is the pastor.
The awards were presented during tudent honors
programs at their respective chools. Awarde will
be further-recognized at th Urban League's Annual
Dinner in the Fall.
Receiving the Muskegon Surgical As ociates
$1,000 award each were Tasha Chambers, Benita
Hall, Tonya Hudson, Tani ha Johnson, Destiny
Lenoir and Martha Sartor.
Receiving a renewable award of $1,000 from the
Surgical Associates were Jamal Johnson and Mar
shondra Smith.
The Jerry S. McCroskey Memorial Fund Award
of S1,OOO each were awarded to Tatika Jon and
Latisha Owens.
The Lena and Fred Meijer employment scholar
ships awarded to students attending Muskegon Com
munity College and demonstrating continuous
financial need went to Paula Paschal, Brandi Parm,
Tyrone Williams and Andrace Morris.
