seeking nominations for busi­
ness beautifica�on awards, ac­
cording to Cornerstone
Alliance Vice President, Plan­
ning and Development
Division, Anne Mulder, PI'C'4i­
dent, Lake Michigan College.
Beautification projects that
improve the exterior ap­
pearance of a business site are
eUgible to receive the awards
which will be presented during
a recognition reception in Oc­
tober. "Only privately owned
busine sites are eligible,·
Mulder aid. "New construc­
tion and public or government
projects are not eligible."
The winners will be
lectcd by a panel of judiea.
A peaal award will be given
in each category and each
nominee will be presented
with a certificate of recogni­
tion.
Under the Cornerstone
recognition program, busi­
