nor John Engler charged that the
Governor's budget cuts are really ad­
ding to the economic recession in the
state.
Tyrone Smith of Employed and
Unemployed Workers of Michigan
involved in the effort to oust Gover­
nor Engler, charged that his elimina­
tion of General As i tance and cut
backs in other tate programs has
reduced employment and services.
