State University with a de ree in
elementary education, Carrol, along
with her husband Willie, who had
roo in M kegon, decided to move
here.
Working for the Muskegon
Heights School y tern for the past
20 years, Carrol, recently divorced,
with two daughters who are enrolled
in Jackson State Unversity in Jack
son, Mi i lppi, began her career in
1970 as an elementary teacher at
<::harles Lindbergh School. ,
After a year in that po ition, he
became part-time teacher in the
adult education program and later
became full time, preparing studen
for tbe G .E.D and teaching basic
education.
