Collins' alleged affair with
Sen. Charles S. Robb- but t

young lady," Wilder told
reporters at an impromptu
news conference a t the
Capitol.
Ms. Collins, a model and
former Miss Virginia-USA,
says she had a 19-month af­
fair with then-Gov. Robb in
1983-84. Robb, a Democrat,
said he shared a bottle of

Collins in a New York hotel
room but he has denied the
affair .
