The June 9th double performance (first at Allen Chapel and later at Kalamazoo College) consisted of Bible verses from the Book of Proverb set to music and song, ac­ cording to Angela Gray. "It tarted as a tune I carried around in my head since the age of even. I had to wait until I got the skills to write down what I wanted," he volunteered. Her passion for music took off in sixth grade. Attending Parkwood Upjohn Elementary School, she began a close relationship with a b . "Originally: I was suppose to play cello but the bass looked more attractive because of its size and be­ cause I enjoyed its deep, melodic sound."
