land Park and the following people
have filed and qualified as can
didates for the Mayoral race; Titus
Mcavy� Anna R Peeples, Linsey
Porter, Martha G. Scott, Ethel Ter
rell, Scotty Wainwright, and Rod
ney Watts.
In addition, candidates running
for City Council are Deneene
Benefield, Wanda L. Bostic,
Katherine Clarkson, Eddie .
Cromer Jr., Charlie P. Davis,
Dwight Downes, Jimmie Dumas,
Christine Franklin, Comer Heath
Ill, Greta Joyce Johnson, Fleanor
Lampkin, fletcher Miller, Tremon
McDermott, Haskell Posey, Glenn
Michael Pride, Frank Ross, and
Christopher Woodard. The follow
ing candidates will not appear on
the primary ballot: Mattie P. Carter
for City Clerk and Benautrice
Roland for Treasurer. The deadline
for filing was June 18 for the Sep
tember 10 Municipal Primary Elec-
