Judge William F. Bledsoe submitted the court's new 1991-92 budget which proposes a $5,000 increase as opposed to last year's budget 'which requested $585,558. As shown in the budget for the 1990-91 fiscal year, only $79,046 was spent by the court. This number was recorded on January 28 and has not been updated since. Bledsoe said "I , don't know what the problem is with the finance department." He said the finance depart­ ment is not monitoring the revenue properly and that is why they should not be in charge of paying the bills. The District Control Unit is a separate entity which is run by the city council. Mayor Martha Scott also presented the city's new 1991- 92 budget during the meeting. Council members are still un­ satified with the new budget.
