There are lots of deer and bre rabbi t seems to be on the increase. But 'he pointed out that the club concentrates on a different kind of hoot­ ing. "We do competitive shoot­ ing at targets," Barksdale said. "We belong to ATA (Amer] can Trap Shooting As­ sociation) and WSTA (Western Trap Shooting As­ sociation). " The cl ub, w.h ic h has ap­ proximately 150 members, has enough women members to have a women's auxiliary. Individual members of the cl ub compete throughout the Uni ted States, Barksdale said. Although the club does fish-fly fish, this is a game I DON'T KNOW if it was self defense or not, but Mal­ com pulled the trigger and one hundred and seventy-five pounds of bear crashed to the ground. Malcom said, "That's the biggest game I've ever shot." Barksdale said the club holds it annual dinner the first or second Saturday each March.
