(MAAF) p.rogram.
Each year four to six in­
dividuals from the African
American, Asian, HIspanic and
Native American communities
are selected for arts administra­
tion residencies at a variety of
cultural institutions nationally.
In addition to professional
training and exposure to a nation­
al network of arts administrators
and mentors, program fellows
also receiv� . salary stipend' of
$18,000 plus a modest travel al­
lowance. At the completion of
the nine.-month fellowship
period, Arts Midwest will further
assist fellows with job place-
ment. '
Applicants mu t reside within
Arts Midwest's region (IL, IN,
lA, MI, MN, ND, OH, SD, and
WI). Ideal candidate will have
orne background in the arts,
either as artists, community arts
activist, or admini trators. In­
