September 19 Highland Park
City Council meetin , en­
raged cuizen expressed con­
cern about illegal dumping in
a fenced-in lot on the corner
of Hamilton nd laBelle.
A LaBelle re ide nt, who
would only identify herself as
Betty, formed a street com­
m�ttee to top the dumping.

resident want the recycling
plant removed from their
neighborhood.
The City ordered the com­
pany to clear the site, and the
dumpster and leftover debris
was removed by Monday.
The Department of Public
Safety will keep the lot
closed until after the com­
pany appears in court. D &
