the Public Safety Department.
They claim police officers are
DOt sufficiently trained to hand-
le fire department duties. •
The council approved two
grants from the Michigan State
Housing and Development
Authority to rehabilitate city
housing, and revitalize the
Woodward, John R./ Stevens,
and Ferris area.
Also approved a request
by the Community Develop
ment Department to advertise
for proposal for reuse of the
Phoenix Motel, a request to ad
