forced into hiring the firm and

the contr ct. Mayor William
Wolf stated tbat be didn't think
the city needed them (Pierce,
Monroe & Associate) either,
but he voted to approved the
resol ution.
The Commi ion also gave
City Ma r Steve Manning
concensu approval to go
abead and purchase a vehicle
for tbe City'S Detective Bureau
from the S. Lynn Vance Es te,
deceued father of tbe C ty's
Finance Director/Treasurer,
Michael L. Vance, for the
amount of $7,800. . I I
