American slaves were gro Iy mistreated, and received no compensation for their ork, For bundred of years they toiled, suffered, fought , and died to help make America great. But American history textboo have for the mo t part treated the hi tory of the slaves with carelessness and neglect. Most slaves died with neither rew rd nor gratitude.
